AZ says its prices start from VND 100,000 a day. Bao Tin Travel’s FAQ gives a “reference” price list instead of a fixed table. It lists automatic scooters such as Air Blade, Lead, Vision and Janus at VND 80,000 to VND 150,000 a day. It lists semi-automatic bikes such as Wave, Sirius and Jupiter at VND 50,000 to VND 120,000 a day.
Deposits and documents each shop asks for
Each line below is what the shop says on its own site. A shop’s requirement is not the legal rule. For what the law says about driving a motorbike as a foreigner, read Driving in Vietnam as a Foreigner: Licence, IDP and Conversion Rules.
- DanangBike: it does not keep your original passport and asks only for the identification information needed for the rental agreement. It says no cash security deposit is required for standard rentals.
- DanangBike: for Vespa, Honda PCX and other motorcycle-class scooters it asks for the appropriate motorcycle licence and supporting documents for the exact vehicle category. Renters of these scooters confirm they hold the matching motorcycle entitlement.
- Tuan Motorbike Rental: its chain-wide Terms of Service require a valid passport or government-issued ID and a security deposit for all rentals. The deposit is refundable when the motorbike comes back in its original condition. The same terms say you must possess a valid driver’s license or international driving permit.
- AZ Danang Motorbike Rental: it says a security deposit (passport) is required on pickup. It also says only a passport and cash are required for payment.
- Motorbike Rental Da Nang: it does not require a deposit, and a photo of your passport is sufficient to rent. Its rental page says no deposit is asked for each bike in the table above.
- danangmotorbikerental.org: it lists an ID card or passport (original), a driver’s license (for verification) and a return flight or train ticket. The ticket waives the cash deposit. It says the original ID card or passport is kept if you have no return ticket.
- Gia Huy: it lists a valid citizen ID card or passport and a valid A1 or A2 driving license.
- Bao Tin Travel: it has a no-deposit rental policy, except for renters without an ID card or without a passport. For an individual it lists a citizen ID card or passport and a class A1 or A2 driving license.

- DanangBike: each confirmed rental includes two helmets, two raincoats and a phone holder. Shop pickup is free, and delivery is free for rentals of 5 days or longer. Shorter rentals currently use a VND 180,000 standard delivery fee unless another arrangement is confirmed.
- DanangBike, Scratch Protection: it is a separate optional add-on for eligible minor exterior scratches only.
- Tuan Motorbike Rental: helmets are provided with all rentals.
- AZ Danang Motorbike Rental: the price includes a helmet, raincoat, delivery, phone holder, pickup and dropoff, maps guidelines and 1 free liter of gasoline.
- Motorbike Rental Da Nang: it delivers to any location in Da Nang, including the airport and bus station. No delivery fee is stated on the page.
- danangmotorbikerental.org: it lists two helmets, two raincoats and 1 liter of fuel in the tank. It also lists free bike delivery and return anywhere in central Da Nang, including the airport, train station and bus station.
- Gia Huy: the bike comes with 2 helmets, 1 liter of fuel and 2 raincoats (when it rains). Pickup and return in the city center is free, and it delivers to hotels, the beach area, the airport, train station and bus station.
- Bao Tin Travel: it delivers bikes to the door (airport, hotel, home), free for customers in the inner-city area of Da Nang.

Common questions
Can I rent a scooter for a month, not just a day?
Some shops list monthly rates. Motorbike Rental Da Nang lists a monthly rate for each bike, and DanangBike lists 30-day rates. Tuan and AZ say you can hire on a daily, monthly or yearly basis but show no monthly price.
Do I have to leave my passport with the shop?
It depends on the shop. DanangBike says it does not keep your original passport. danangmotorbikerental.org keeps the original ID card or passport if you have no return ticket.
Will the shop bring the bike to my hotel or the airport?
Several shops say they deliver. Motorbike Rental Da Nang delivers to any location in Da Nang, including the airport and bus station, and Bao Tin Travel delivers to the airport, hotels and homes.
Is DanangBike's Scratch Protection the same as insurance?
DanangBike describes Scratch Protection as a separate optional add-on for eligible minor exterior scratches only.
Does a shop's licence requirement mean that is the law?
