The city’s beach notice says to swim only inside the area marked off with safety buoys, which show yellow-red flags. It also says to follow the lifeguards on duty, stop when lifeguard hours end, and stay out on days of bad weather or big waves.

Heat and air

Mean air temperature peaks at 29.4 °C in June and is 29.3 °C in July, against 21.5 °C in January. Midday in summer is a time for the pool or a museum, not for walking.
