Halal food in Da Nang

Vietnam Tourism describes its halal list as dining spots holding reputable halal certifications. Its Da Nang section opens with Family Indian Halal Restaurant.
| Place | Status | Hours |
|---|---|---|
| Family Indian Restaurant | Listed by Vietnam Tourism; own page states no halal certificate | 10AM-3PM and 5-10PM |
| Nan n Kabab Indian Halal Restaurant | Listed by Vietnam Tourism; marked permanently closed on Maps | Closed |
| Furama Resort Danang | Separate halal kitchen system | Resort restaurant |
| Sun World Ba Na Hills | Halal-certified restaurant and prayer rooms | Park hours |
Family Indian is at 231 Ho Nghinh. Its own page says it has welcomed many Muslim delegations from Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.
The tourism page lists Nan n Kabab, but Google Maps marks it permanently closed. Halal lists go stale, and this closure is the reason this guide dates every listing.
How many halal places are there, and who certifies them
In January 2026, Vietnam News reported nearly 40 halal and Indian restaurants in Da Nang, over 10 of them halal-certified. In May 2025 a national tourism page counted over 30 halal or Muslim-friendly restaurants and over 20 popular vegan and vegetarian spots.
HALCERT, the National Halal Certification Center, is a unit under the Conformity Certification Center. The counts above do not name which restaurants hold certificates.
Still open: which Da Nang restaurants hold a current halal certificate — no named list found.
Not confirmed: Prices and menus for every place, and whether "vegetarian" dishes at ordinary restaurants hold fish sauce or meat stock. No named list of currently certified halal restaurants was found.
