Free entry, on presentation of proof, applies to:

  • Vietnamese citizens with a disability certificate.
  • Vietnamese citizens entitled to cultural-policy preferences.
  • Children under 16 and students covered by the 2019 Education Law.
  • Vietnamese citizens aged 60 and over.
  • Diplomatic guests.

Everyone enters free, regardless of group, on these days:

  • Lunar New Year’s Day (Tết).
  • Da Nang Liberation Day, 29 March.
  • Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day, the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month.
  • Vietnam’s National Day, 2 September.
