Holiday nights in 2026

Around major holidays the city issues its own show dates. Two dated examples from 2026:

National Day 2026 (28 August – 2 September)

For National Day 2026, the city ran the show every night from Friday 28 August through Wednesday 2 September, per an official dispatch dated 22 August 2026. Each night’s show was set for 9:00pm. City police coordinated with Da Nang Bridge and Road JSC on traffic order and safety for vehicles and people.

Tet 2026 (13–22 February)

For Tet 2026, the show ran on the evenings of 13–22 February 2026. In the lunar calendar, that spans the 26th of the last month of At Ty to the 6th of the first month of Binh Ngo. On New Year’s Eve, 16 February 2026, the bridge performed a water display at midnight.

The city’s official notice confirmed these Tet 2026 dates. City police were assigned to support Da Nang Bridge and Road JSC with traffic order and safety for vehicles and people during the show nights.

Bridge facts

• Dragon Bridge is 666m long, 37.5m wide, with six traffic lanes.
• It opened to traffic on 29 March 2013, at a cost of nearly VND 1.5 trillion (about US$88m).
• That opening date, 29 March 2013, marked the 38th anniversary of the liberation of Da Nang City.
• The bridge’s main span was completed on 26 October 2011.

Not confirmed: No official 2026 source states the exact minutes vehicles are stopped from crossing the bridge on a show night. Whether the 2026 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival paused the show, and on which nights, has not been confirmed by an official 2026 notice. No official notice of a 2026 weather-related suspension of the show has been found.
